Greek cooking offers an incredibly rich and diverse array of foods that have been influenced by other cultures from Europe to India and ranks up there with the best in "fusion" cuisines. Greek food is simple yet elegant, fresh, with flavors ranging from subtle to robust. You will start with a refreshing Watermelon and Feta Salad tossed with a Serrano Chile Vinaigrette Dressing. Steamed Mussels with Fennel, Tomatoes, Ouzo and Cream come next. Crispy Roasted Chicken with Tarragon and Lemon Verbena paired with traditional Roasted Potatoes with Garlic, Lemon and Oregano complete the menu.
Greece is also known for the beautiful vineyards that dot the hillsides. For an additional $20.00, sample the wines our Sommelier has selected to compliment your menu. To go with the watermelon salad we have chosen the Moschofilero 2008 from Boutari. Paired with the Mussels we have chosen a Vatistas 2008 from Lakonia and paired with the Chicken with tarragon the Nemea 2006 by Boutari. And we might even sneak in a shot of OUZO the national spirit of Greece to finish off the meal. Join us on a delicious adventurous journey.
