Kids Camp Day 3
A La Piccoli Chefs Class for Children 3rd-5th Grade
Bring your child(ren) to our fun and adventurous cooking camp where they will learn useful skills that will benefit them for their entire lives. Camp begins at 10:00 am in our gleaming professional kitchen and ends at 2:00 pm. In a hands-on environment, they will learn about kitchen safety, etiquette, food handling, and most importantly: how to have fun!
To start off, your chefs will create their own lunches and eat in our dining room. On the menu today will be some Italian favorites. They will each make a pizza Margherita (topped with fresh mozzarella and shredded basil) and they wil prepare a Caesar salad with fresh made herbed croutons.
Afterwards their lunch, your budding chefs will cook up a delicious surprise. At 2:00 pm, when you pick up your little chef, you'll also receive dinner for a family of four. On the menu this evening will be garlic bread and homemade spaghetti and meatballs. No Italian feast would be complete without a classic Tiramisu that your child will lovingly assemble. No cooking tonight for Mom and Dad!
At the end of camp, your chef will bring home a personally decorated apron and trophy "Kitchen Table" spatula. Learning to cook not only teaches your little chef a lifelong skill, but also provides a boost to self esteem and confidence.
