ART OF GRILLING - American Nouveau Grill
A Specialty Class
Summer is on and it is time to get grilling. Now, as you may or may not know, there is a fine art to grilling. While most people grill on a somewhat regular basis, it is not always 100% successful. Food sticks to the grill, is burnt, or worse, undercooked. We have created several classes that will teach you how to master the ART OF GRILLING by following some simple techniques.
In this class for starters, you will prepare Grlled Ahi tuna, grilled avocado guacamole, tomato cucumber salad with sweet chili sauce. For the main course you will grill an Apple Glazed Bone-In Double Cut Pork Chop paired with Grilled Potato Salad with Goat Cheese and Chives and to finish this fabulous meal you will make Grilled peaches with lemon poppy seed pound-cake, sparkling wine-vanilla glaze and vanilla crunchy almond ice cream.
Our Sommelier has put together a special wine pairing to compliment this grilling extravaganza. To go with the grilled Ahi Tuna an un-oaked chardonnay 2007 Clos de la Chance from Monterrey County was chosen and for the grilled pork chop two wines, 2008 Solaire, by Robert Mondavi from the Santa Lucia Highlands is pitted against a 2006 St. Francis, Old Vines Zinfandel from Sonoma County. This fine pairing is available for an additional fee of $25.
