Tuscan cooking is the food of the earth and is appreciated the world over for its fresh, natural and flavorful ingredients. The easy going Italian way of life is what describes Tuscany. Tuscan food is considered to be some of the healthiest in the Mediterranean. The food is often as straightforward as a simple cut of meat with olive oil and fragrant rosemary or wild fennel. Traditional recipes are treasured and passed down from generation to generation. The dinner table evokes many happy memories of conversations, debates, and laughter over delicious meals. Experience first hand the great taste of Tuscany.
Chef Thomas has created a menu which highlights the best Tuscany has to offer. The Primi is a Panzanella Salad, the Secondi is Bistecca alla Fiorentina served with Asparagi alla Parmigianno, and for dessert you will prepare Semi Freddo with Fresh Seasonal Fruit. WOW!!
Their wine too is incredible. Rich and robust. Included in the price of the class is a flight of wines selected to compliment Chef Thomas' menu. We have selected a Vernaccia Di San Gimignano to pair with the Panzanella Salad, and both a Ruffino Aziano Chianti Classico and a super Tuscan, Modus Toscana, to bring out the rich flavors of the Bistecca.
