Ireland is a country where romance is fueled by imagination, Guinness, music, beautiful landscapes and winter evenings by the fire.  There is nothing as romantic as Ireland, a country with many places to renew the fuel of love and fire of life.

Close your eyes and imagine the rugged, emerald green mountains that sweep down into the sea.  See the never-ending miles of stone walls that line rocky fields.  Travel the narrow, winding roads shaded by tall hedges.  You might spot an ancient castle here or there.  Quaint little towns dot the countryside.  What is that delicious aroma that wafts from the thatch roofed tavern set off the road? 

It is with this in mind that we have chosen to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in a very special, romantic way, with traditional dishes that reflect their heritage and natural resources (not the corned beef and cabbage which originated out of New York City).

Today, in honor of St. Patrick's Day, our Chefs have composed a menu (created by celebrated Chefs from Ireland) that truly expresses the extraordinary bounties of that wild and glorious place known as IRELAND.

Your evening starts with a special Leprechaun Kiss Cocktail and Shamrock Smoked Salmon served on Irish Soda Bread (recipes will be included in your packet).  Then head into the kitchen to prepare:

Petite Green Pea and Bacon Soup (Chef Clodagh McKenna of Ballymaloe House in Cork)
Herb Lamb with Mint Shallot Sauce (Temple House in Ballymote)
Garlic Mashed Potatoes (Island Cottage in Hare Island)
Guinness Stout Ginger Cake (The Desserts of Gramercy Tavern)

At the end of this spectacular evening, turn to your someone special and say "Is tú mo ghrá".  That's Gaelic (Irish) for "I love you". Saying it in this beautiful language will mean so much more to the person you love because the Irish have perfected the expressions of love from one to another.

Note: We require that all students be at least 16 years of age to sign up for adult classes.

No alcoholic beverages will be served to anyone under the age of 21. Please bring identification with proof of age.

Class prices shown are per person (unless noted). You will need to provide a credit card number to reserve a space in any class.

Cancellation policy:

When you register for a class, you reserve a slot that determines how much food we buy and how many work stations we set up. You are also counted in the total number of students, which determines whether the class will be held.

If Kitchen Table cancels a class due to low enrollment, all payments and deposits will be refunded in full.

If you cancel a registration, you must notify KTCS seven (7) calendar days before the date of the class. You can send another person in your place or transfer to another class of your choice, based upon availability. Or we will issue a KTCS gift card redeemable for another class, or for products in our retail store.

IMPORTANT: This option is available only if you cancel more than seven (7) days before the scheduled class date.

NOTE: No refunds, transfers, gift cards or credits will be issued if you cancel within seven (7) calendar days of the class date. We cannot provide refunds, transfers, or offer makeup sessions for classes missed as a result of illness, job loss, personal emergencies or events beyond our control.
