Come join us for a very special night as we combine two of our passions: cooking the food of Tuscany and tasting the wines from a talented Tuscan winemaker.  Benedetto Baracchi of Baracchi vineyards in the Tuscan hills near Sienna will join us this evening to lead you through a tasting of wines from his boutique winery.

This evening will begin like all of our classes with a description of the region and the menu you will cook while you sip on sparkling Baracchi wine and nibble on italian salume and antipasti.

Our menu is based on a typical Spring Tuscan menu you might enjoy at their Relais Chateau inn on the hills around Cortona.

Bruschetta di tonno con cannellini - Bruschetta with yellow fin tuna, cannellini beans, arugula and tomatoes
Agnello Arrosto all'erbe - roasted spring lamb with rosemary and garlic with roasted potatoes, artichokes, asparagus and parmesan
Bombolini - Fried doughnuts with rhubarb - balsamic compote and vanilla gelato

After you cook each course under the guidance of our two chefs, you will taste the wines lovingly crafted by Benedetto as he explains his pairing choices and the specifics of his terroir.
