FOOD TOUR USA - American Regional Cuisine - New England - A New Beginning - 15% off Tax Break Sale!
A Regional Foods Class | $95 plus tax per person.

There is nothing in the world like AMERICAN REGIONAL CUISINE.  The UNITED STATES is a melting pot of ethnic cultures, and we have embraced these multi-cultural cuisines, infused them with distinct local ingredients, to create our own UNIQUE regional cuisine.

JOIN US ON A FOOD TOUR OF THE USA.

Our first stop is New England.  Now, why do they call it "New England"? Well, the Pilgrims fled here from "Old England" to find a "new" way of life.  Wow, did they ever.  After setting up a colony, they made friends with the Native Americans and were introduced to some pretty fantastic local food sources. The Native American influence on Colonial cooking is incalculable.

Corn, beans, squash (known as the Three Sisters) became staples as did wild turkey, the "sacred" cod fish, berries and a multitude of other local foods indigenous to this area.  Thanksgiving was born of this relationship between people and land.  However, we don't have to wait for Thanksgiving to indulge.  How about now??

Massachusetts Crispy Cod Cakes with Tartar Sauce
American Turkey Roulade with fresh Cornbread Stuffing
Seasonal Greens with a warm Apple Cider Vinaigrette
Vermont Maple Crème Brulée with Cranberry Relish

Where to next??  Check our culinary "itinerary" to find out.
