FOOD TOUR USA - American Regional Cuisine - Southern Comfort - 15% off Tax Break Sale!
A Regional Foods Class | $95 plus tax per person.

There is nothing in the world like AMERICAN REGIONAL CUISINE.  The UNITED STATES is a melting pot of ethnic cultures, and we have embraced these multi-cultural cuisines, infused them with distinct local ingredients, to create our own UNIQUE regional cuisine.

JOIN US ON A FOOD TOUR OF THE USA.

We're heading SOUTH for some good ol' Southern hospitality and comfort foods. From Arkansas in the West to the Carolinas on the East, Kentucky in the North and Georgia to the South; we are going to cover a lot of territory not to mention styles of cuisine.

In the South, both the Native Americans of the region and the African-American slaves most profoundly influenced the food and style of cooking. The well rounded staples included rice, nuts, fruits and berries, poultry, wild game, seafood, a variety of greens and vegetables.

You'll have to agree - there's nothing quite like Southern cuisine.  Those genteel "kitchen magnolias" are fearless when it comes to their food.  And, they have such fun names for their dishes.  Just makes you want to settle in and EAT.

Alabama's Fried Pickled Okra with a Tangy Remoulade Sauce
Kentucky's Traditional Southern Fried Chicken

South Carolina's "Hoppin' John" (Rice and Black-Eyed Pea Pilaf)
Georgia's Peach "Brown Betty" (Cobbler)
