Sushi has become one of the most popular cuisines of today. Not only is it healthy for you, but with its creative edge, is it also a lot of fun to make. In our hands-on class here at the Kitchen Table, you will be working side by side with Chef Tom Lee where he will start by teaching you the proper technique of creating Sushi's essential ingredient: RICE (very important).
You will learn about the different types of Sushi, the way to select the freshest ingredients, especially the fish, and where to get the other elements necessary to prepare Sushi. From there, you will learn to prepare all the different "fillings" that go into Sushi. Using Ahi Tuna and Salmon as your main protein you will learn how to make a range of different rolls.
Included in the price of the class our Sommelier has selected some amazing Sakes and Japanese beer to pair with Chef Tom's menu.
