Local Food Heroes - Top Chef - Hosea Rosenberg

Chef Hosea Rosenberg is one of Denver and Boulder's most famous Local Food Heroes. A native of New Mexico, Hosea made his way to Boulder to pursue a degree in Astronomy and eventually plunged into the local restaurant world.

Does the name sound familiar? Chef Hosea Rosenberg has won numerous awards and accolades over the course of his career including Best Chef of Denver International Wine Festival (2006, 2007, 2008); seven-time, undefeated winner of the Flatiron Chef Competition; Guest Chef at the James Beard House (2007); and winner of Bravo’s Season Five Top Chef. We are very excited to feature this delicious cooking class with Chef Hosea at the Kitchen Table. Chef Hosea is a natural teacher and he will guide you as you learn how to cook the exquisite menu he has composed especially for this class. We will pair his amazing menu with high quality wines to ensure it is a superlative dining experience.

Appetizer:  Roast Sweet Potato Bisque with Crabmeat, Apple and Pecan

Entrée:  Colorado Baby Striped Bass with Bacon, Fingerlings, Brussels Sprouts and Pomegranate Brown Butter

Dessert:  Molten Chocolate Cupcake with Salt Caramel and Coffee Ice Cream

Note: We require that all students be at least 16 years of age to sign up for adult classes.

No alcoholic beverages will be served to anyone under the age of 21. Please bring identification with proof of age.

Class prices shown are per person (unless noted). You will need to provide a credit card number to reserve a space in any class.

Cancellation policy:

When you register for a class, you reserve a slot that determines how much food we buy and how many work stations we set up. You are also counted in the total number of students, which determines whether the class will be held.

If Kitchen Table cancels a class due to low enrollment, all payments and deposits will be refunded in full.

If you cancel a registration, you must notify KTCS seven (7) calendar days before the date of the class. You can send another person in your place or transfer to another class of your choice, based upon availability. Or we will issue a KTCS gift card redeemable for another class, or for products in our retail store.

IMPORTANT: This option is available only if you cancel more than seven (7) days before the scheduled class date.

NOTE: No refunds, transfers, gift cards or credits will be issued if you cancel within seven (7) calendar days of the class date. We cannot provide refunds, transfers, or offer makeup sessions for classes missed as a result of illness, job loss, personal emergencies or events beyond our control.
