Souped Up Winter Soups with Shelley Hillesheim a Natural Foods Chef - 15% off Tax Break Sale!
A Specialty Class | $80 plus tax per person.
There’s nothing quite like a warm bowl of soup on a crisp winter day. If you use nutritious ingredients, it's a delicious way to keep your body healthy and supercharge your immune system to combat the potential effects of the weather. To get even more benefit in the winter months, you can add a couple of ‘secret weapon’ ingredients to super-charge the nutritional value of your soup to keep you healthy all season long. We’ll cover these ‘secret’ ingredients and discuss the reasons to make and use your own nutrient-dense bone building broth. The secret ingredients and bone-building broth will be used in all of the soups we make in class. Additionally, we will walk you through the necessary steps to ‘build your own’ soup and garnish it with flair. You’ll leave with plenty of handouts and knowledge to super-charge your soup eating.
This class is part-lecture and part-hands-on cooking.
NOTE - All ingredients used in class are ORGANIC and include the very best of what’s available and in season.
