Wine Foundation Class: France - The Great Wines of the Rhone

France is where it all began.  The wines of France are highly regulated and based on tradition and a thousand years of trial and error. Every subsequent wine-growing region on the planet has based its wine growing style on the French system.

In this class, we will guide you through one of the most approachable wine regions of France - the Rhône.  Don't let the complicated names and fancy labels scare you away from these incredible wines.  You will learn how to read a wine label and understand what it really says.  Let us help you fall in love with French wines from this sun drenched region of France. 

Light snacks will be paired with the wines for this evening.

From the Rhône we will taste: a Red from the Northern Côte du Rhône, a Chateauneuf du Pape and a Vaqueyras red from the Southern Côte du Rhône, as well as a Tavel and some typical southern Rhône whites and reds.

NOTE: Groups of more than 6 friends or family members need to be handled a little differently from regular class registrations. If you plan to sign up more than 6 people for ONE class, please call us at 303-220-9769 to register. We will need to make special arrangements for your group.

Note: We require that all students be at least 16 years of age to sign up for adult classes.

No alcoholic beverages will be served to anyone under the age of 21. Please bring identification with proof of age.

Class prices shown are per person (unless noted). You will need to provide a credit card number to reserve a space in any class.

Cancellation policy:

When you register for a class, you reserve a slot that determines how much food we buy and how many work stations we set up. You are also counted in the total number of students, which determines whether the class will be held.

If Kitchen Table cancels a class due to low enrollment, all payments and deposits will be refunded in full.

If you cancel a registration, you must notify KTCS seven (7) calendar days before the date of the class. You can send another person in your place or transfer to another class of your choice, based upon availability. Or we will issue a KTCS gift card redeemable for another class, or for products in our retail store.

IMPORTANT: This option is available only if you cancel more than seven (7) days before the scheduled class date.

NOTE: No refunds, transfers, gift cards or credits will be issued if you cancel within seven (7) calendar days of the class date. We cannot provide refunds, transfers, or offer makeup sessions for classes missed as a result of illness, job loss, personal emergencies or events beyond our control.
