    Could we make it better? Great class. Informative, welcoming and fun.
    Anything you’d like to share? We ran out of cheese and meats at the beginning. We really needed a little more substantial to eat given how many wines we tasted. The quiche was excellent.

Spain has more land planted with grapes than any wine growing country in the world, but since they can sometimes be low yielding vines, it is only ranked 3rd in global wine production.  Regardless Spain has a lot to offer the world of wine. From the robust and rich Tempranillo's of Rioja to the great value Monastrells of Jumilla.  There is something for everyone in this amazing wine rich country.  

In this class we will take a quick tour, from the northeast to the southwest, of Spanish wines.  We will sample wine growing regions that are well established (Rioja) and up and coming regions.

By the end of the class you will have a good sense of what Spain has to offer and we trust this new found knowledge will propel you to learn more about the wines of Spain.
